Barrier® Organic Soap is an organic, all-natural, antimicrobial hand & body soap formulated for athletes - although it's just as suitable for anybody who cares about keeping their skin healthy while preserving their skin's natural flora.

Barrier contains an incredible 2% concentration of pure, organic tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils, which are widely known for their antimicrobial properties.

This is a serious, high-quality product for those who demand the best! We don't mask anything with perfumes; the invigorating aromas are given off by the active essential oils that give Barrier Body Wash its functional properties.

Geared towards proactive protection

Athletes and individuals in contact sports are much more likely to contract skin infections than the average person. It’s not uncommon for athletes to miss games and practices due to a skin infection; in some cases it may disqualify them from competition altogether.

Barrier Body Wash is formulated with both prevention and recovery in mind. For best results, use it immediately after training/exercise - as well as during your regular showers.

Keep your skin healthy

There are many skin infections that can cause serious trouble: ringworm, staph, impetigo, herpes, jock itch and athlete’s foot - just to name a few. The key to keeping your skin healthy is regular preventative maintenance, as well as immediate post-exposure cleansing with an antimicrobial agent.

Back to nature

Antibiotic resistance has become a global concern; some conventional antibiotic cleansers are clearly losing their efficacy, and, even worse, they may be contributing to antibiotic resistance.

Tea tree oil is amazingly complex. It contains over 98 chemical compounds and, through the course of evolution, has become an effective antimicrobial agent which antibiotic-resistant bacteria cannot yet adapt to. And, unlike harsh commercial antibiotic agents, tea tree oil leaves your skin’s natural flora intact*.

Don't just take our word for it

Melaleuca alternifolia - commonly known as tea tree oil - has had plenty of published studies confirming its antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and other medicinal properties.

For example, a study* accessible in the US National Library of Medicine concluded that “a wealth of in vitro data now supports the long-held beliefs that [tea tree oil] has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties”. On the subject of resistance to the antimicrobial properties of tea tree oil, this same study concluded that “resistance to conventional antibiotics has not been demonstrated to influence susceptibility to [tea tree oil], suggesting that cross-resistance does not occur”.

What's inside

We use only the highest quality ingredients. Our concentrated formula will likely provide you with the best lathering experience that you've ever had. Barrier Hand & Body Wash is a real soap that features none of the fillers, additives or chemicals that dominate the market.
